My name is Kaylee, but there is more to me than just a name. I am a daughter, sister, student, friend, and truth seeker. I am a nursing student at Appalachian State University in Boone, North Carolina. Ya’ll: where I live is beautiful! The mountains. Sunsets. Snow. It gets pretty cold in the winter and the wind is not a good time, but all in all… Breathtaking.
I am an amateur at just about all of the things that I love, but more than ok with it. I enjoy exploring health and wellness both in physical, and nutritional aspects. I absolutely love cooking and baking recipes that are yummy and good for my body!
This blog is a place to for me to doodle my thoughts on my passions: Food, Family, Fitness, Friends, and how Jesus is working in each of these areas of my life. I am thrilled to begin this cyber adventure but nervous as well.
Why soul food?
Because I believe that while I love to eat and create food, true nourishment and fulfillment is not attained through food alone, but through relationship with a Savior King. My Faith is extremely important to me!
